The mission of The French Oven is to share their love for baking and french cuisine with the Scripps Ranch community. With the rebrand, the Fournier family wants to create a welcoming, vibrant, and friendly environment where the community can gather. The French Oven strides to provide authentic french home cooked food to their community.

The objective of this project was to connect with a local business based in  San Diego and create a branding system for that company. I was tasked with creating a new visual identity for this small company that showcases the core purpose and values of the local business while also appealing to the large portion of the vibrant neighboring community. With this rebrand, we want to create a visual identity that will allow the local business  to stand out from similar competitors within the community. 

I chose to rebrand The French Oven; a small family owned french bakery and cafe located in Scripps Ranch. The existing branding of The French Oven isn’t  consistent throughout the brand. The goal with this rebrand was to create a visual identity that resembles the authentic french, family owned feel of the bakery but also create a visual identity that will appeal to the vibrant neighborhood community. With this new brand identity I wanted to capture the warm, welcoming environment of the cafe, while also creating a unique, eye-catching brand.
